When I had visited Dr. Niyati, I was in a horrible mental state. It was not easy to choose a therapist who you can trust but in my first call, she was so polite and assuring.

She is an active listener who came up with my diagnosis of BPD. I underwent REBT therapy with her. I felt heard, seen, soothed and understood by her.

The sessions with her were very useful as her approach towards my issues were that from REBT. In no time, I recovered from depression and my BPD episodes drastically got reduced.

The best part is that she doesn’t create a dependency upon her. She equipped me with ways to SELF MANAGE next time a trigger or episode arise. I love how she deeply cares and is so sweet. Even after the session, she would promptly reply in case of an emergency or query. She takes her profession very seriously and it reflects in her work ethic.

I feel grateful to her for helping me throughout my journey. She helped me understand myself better and create meaningful relationships.

I recovered from abusive childhood, teenage, poor self-image, “log kya kahengy factor” and relationship trauma because of her therapy.

Niyati is truly a gem of person, I was recommended to her through a friend of mine, her session helped me release through some of my pain, she always says do not give yourself any label, I will always keep that in mind to focus on further, she is non judgemental I can say this with my problems I had gone to her she rather than judging me she helped me think about it and how I can overcome with it, I had also told her that I have financial problems so might find it difficult to pay her on time which she totally understood. Well cup of coffee during session breaks with her is must, one gets to know her beyond a therapist and more sort of a friend.

A patient listener, who analyses the situation and engages people in a very constructive manner, gives excellent examples to relate to ones predicament and to make the person realise that he/she is in actually much better situation than one is feeling - a very essential aspect of counselling.

Accepting my issues and taking the first step towards beginning therapy wasn't easy for me. Dr Niyati's easy demeanor was a source of comfort. I was absolutely clueless about my feelings and what caused them, As our suggestions progressed I began realizing all that I had been doing wrong. The homeworks and tasks that I was asked to complete not only helped me heal and recover but also get rid of toxic traits, deeply embedded in my personality over the years that were the causes of my emotional distress.
