I have always been a healthy near normal weight lady. During my pregnancy, I gained a lot of weight.
Avanee has been doing food counselling for most of my family members.
So, I too visited her... I was not sure, but had to try it... Lots of inhibition as was breastfeeding my 6 month baby...
Seeing her diet chart, I was confused whether would I loose weight, coz there was more food suggested to be eaten than what I was eating...
In the first week, I lost 1.5 kgs.. Then on, it's been 4 months including a 10 day Switzerland trip, and I have managed to loose 16 kgs... Still going on!
Actually lost more inches than what I was before conceiving
I have had no complaints with breastfeeding, all through out my weight loss journey.
So, I understand that it's about eating healthy and enough food and not about fads and starving!
Most of my daily foods like suji dhoklas, chillas, chenna toast, roti sabzi, Dal rice, once a weak I was allowed to eat out ..All of it has been planned on my diet program.
Avanee is equally concerned about my weight to be maintained further...

I have been consulting Dr. Avanee for the past 5 months and have managed to loose 10kg of weight since then.
She is a wonderful person, well versed in her trade and her diet recommendations have helped me immensely. Due to my obesity, I was unable to walk for small distances but her motivation and support has encouraged me to do 2.5- 3 km daily now.
She is extremely professional and has stuck to her timings during consultation, heard me out patiently, given good recommendation regarding the diet and easy to follow food programs.
She is very open to suggestions given and an extremely flexible with the regimen she expects.
Would strongly recommend her incase one is not motivated to take a leap to fitness and weight loss.

Not only did Avanee help me loose 30 Kgs but the diet and routine that she made me follow (forcefully at times ;)) has changed my life immensely. She is pretty flexible with food choices in the diet plans as well, which is especially good for Jains like myself.
