My elder Maushi aged 78 had developed cataract and it was mature which went unattended. 1 night she woke up with terrible pain, my sister's colleague Dr Trishala Chopra recommended him, however due to odd hours and we were unable to take her to his clinic as she is on wheel chair also her bp condition was worst and that added up for us to take her anywhere. I was able to contact him on fB through Seabuzz. He was prompt to have Video consultation with us late night arnd 10 pm after his working hours. Long story short, on the day of her surgery she was still in bad contidion (pain & as her eye pressure went up so was her Blood pressure fluctuating) but Dr Nikhil aced the surgery it was complicated and not an usual cataract surgery. My sister and I were scared but the confidence in Dr and his Team we were able to pass this exam of life. Apart from Awesome Dr, he is very Humble human being & assist in anyway possible from his end. He also has many options for people who are under poverty line.

The biggest learning from this situation and takeaway is guys pls don't ever neglect a cataract or anything related to eye very lightly.

I got cataract surgery done for both my eyes. I visited two other doctors and then decided to go with Dr . Nikhil Nasta. Infact, I did a walk-in the first time and met with the manager at I-sight clinic who was very helpful. He patiently explained all existing packages & types of lenses without even seeing the doctor, which was not the case in other clinics. The packages were reasonably priced as compared to other renowned clinics in Bandra/Khar area

I found Dr. Nasta to be easily approachable, an excellent Surgeon and someone who puts the patient at ease with casual conversation while examining the patient. This made me comfortable communicating & trust the person who would potentially be fixing my precious eyes.

The facilities: The consulting clinic is clean, spacious, well- equipped & organized with courteous staff. The surgical center is also well-spaced & equipped. Pre-surgery & post-surgery - the staff explains in detail with organized pre-printed templates on prescriptions, dosages, and other relevant information with medicine storage boxes which makes the patient & accompanying relative's life much easier with proper easy to easy-to-understand instructions & efficient medicines management.

The cataract surgery lasted for about 10-15 minutes, and was painless both to the eye and to the pocket 😊 .

Special thanks to the I-sight team – Ankit, Taniksha, and others. Must mention, the office boy, Rajesh- my namesake, who treated us to some good tea & coffee and keeps the clinic spic & span.

My personal experiences.

Reference doctor : Mallikarjun Chatnalli, Eye specialist, Bidar.

Doctor asked me for blood test and ultrasound scan. Sir had explained procedure cataract surgery and assured 100% vision and best lens. During operation I had no pain but just a bit of a headache & that's all. They put several lots of drops in my eye & I can see a bright light whilst the surgeon is doing it & feel some water as they have put in my eye . Afterwards they have cleaned my eye by some drops to take away . It took 20 to 25 minutes for my eye surgery.. Doctor after checking,you will be ok within few days and asked me to come regular checkup and follow up. Now I can read with left eye and see clear objects. All staff members of hospital cooperative and nice.
