My Mom having Diabetic-2, was treated by Sir nine years ago. Sir has treated her and Diabetic-2 was controlled and medications was also reduced.

At present after 9 year I visited him again when there was rise in Mom's sugar level. Within a month Sir controlled her sugar level.

Most important about his treatment is- *friendly approach with the patient and listens patiently. He believes in reducing the medicine with diet and exercise rather than giving more medicine which ultimately have side effects.* This I really liked it.

In my Mom case Diabetes is controlled, medicine is getting reduced, leg used to remain swollen, is gone and even he reduced her BP medicine to some extent.

Doctors has team of dieticians who are equally excellent and caring. The clinic has all, that is needed for diabetic care headed by excellent doctor.

Dr. Dalal gave us the natural comfort level while communicating with us which normally is not felt talking with a super specialist medical professional. This approach of his made both of us - myself & my wife - open up ourselves to express our fears, our misunderstanding/misperceptions, myths about the symptoms & effects of diabetes . We were given point by point explanations in a laymen's language which absolutely removed all our doubts, & concerns about our treatment which in fact made us feel as if we are normal beings & as healthy as we were.

This reassurance has given us a psychological rejuvenation sort of for leading our balance life span free of any mental baggage.

The whole approach was very professional.Taking history,dietary habits to examination of patient, computerising for future records and Doctors advise and prescription.

Dr. Deepak Dalal was very patiently addressing all queries at the pace of patient"s understanding.

Perhaps to complete this personalised experience it would be highly beneficial if there is followup call from Doctors clinic on progress and if any feedback. As patients start having more queries after going back and digesting whole advise, this will bring patient and Doctor proactively close.
