Had a booking with the doctor that had been scheduled a couple of days in advance for my wife, who needed to get an endoscopy. When we reached the hospital, the nurse informed us the doctor will take another hour to reach! Endoscopy requires one to be without food or water for 8 hours, so my wife was already dealing with hunger and thirst. She has an extremely fast metabolism and gets headaches if she doesn't eat every few hours. When we asked the nurse why we weren't informed that we can wait at home for another hour, she called the Dr. Nitin and asked us to speak to him, who I must say, was quite rude and arrogant over the call. He said don't worry, I've asked the nurse to put your wife on saline. I'll be there in 15-20 mins ****** *** * *** ******* *** ***** *** **** ** **** ** *** **** **** **** *** ********* ******** When I told him that if he could've informed us, we could have planned better - it just takes one text message, he said let me explain how doctors work. I told him I understand, my family is full of doctors (which it is). At this point he said, ok, I'll give you two options, either you can wait for me to arrive or you can cancel, I have no problem. My 7 year old daughter was suffering from constant abdomen pain and headaches. It was increased to such an extent where we had to hospitalized her for 8 days straight. Later, she was discharged and bought back home.
