The treatment was prolonged for a long time, over three months. It subsequently transpired that the prolongation of treatment was because some treatment material got stuck inside the root canal which the Doctor was not able to remove. After consulting a root canal specialist who also did not appear to be very competent I was advised that the only solution was removal of tooth. I then took a second opinion from another doctor who removed the stuck material in one sitting.
There are two issues. One is the incompetency and another is not being truthful and not telling the patient of what actually happened..

Before starting any treatment, you should counsel the patient about the approximate total expenses related to the treatment. I don't mind spending if the treatment is excellent. You should not have cap of single company. You should provide choices of various companies and varied range. Many companies provide warranty in full metal range... the cost of which is around 1500â‚ą. The range of your cap starts with â‚ą2500 without warranty.
