Asian Institute of Gastroenterology was established as a new concept of day care unit where major Endoscopic surgical procedures could be done on an outpatient basis without resorting to hospitalization. Since then the institute has become one of the largest referral centers in Asia for Therapeutic Endoscopy. Patients are referred from not only most cities in India but also from surrounding countries like Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Nepal etc.,It has the credit of doing the largest number of ERCP procedures in the world. In addition to routine gastrointestinal procedures like Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP (Diagnostic & Therapeutic). Our institute is one of the few centers in the country doing Endoscopic Ultra Sonography, Endoscopic Sewing, Capsule Endoscopy and E S W L (Extra corporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy ).

So, the journey started by calling "Baby Vaishnavi", announcement of the next number for an appointment. Hello! my name is Vaishnavi Kapre, I had by birth Pancreas problem. My case was little different. I came with my parents as a small baby, I mate 1st time to Dr. Mohan Ramchandani in Asian institute of Gastroenterology, Somajiguda. It's been almost 15 years now. He and Dr. Nageshwar Reddy gave me the proper guidance, treatment like ERCPs . It's almost cured now. He also encouraged me for having proper diet. Dr.Mohan sir is very friendly. My uncle has got stomach issues which include severe stomach pain and was unable to have any kind of food. After careful consideration we have gone with Dr. Nageshwar Reddy and here at AIG,team of doctors helped us with treatment. During our initial screening with other doctors we got varied suggestions like surgery etc. After getting admitted to AIG they have diagnosed correctly, started with noninvasive treatment and also ran few tests to understand root cause for issues and suggested OP treatment instead of surgery.
We are very much satisfied with their approach and treatment plan. Thankyou very much.
