I came to Dr. Eleri’s Piles & Fistula Clinic with a painful swelling on the right side of my buttock. About 4–5 days before visiting the hospital, I developed significant swelling along with fever and severe discomfort.

Initially, I took antibiotics and painkillers, hoping the swelling would settle. However, the swelling continued to increase and eventually ruptured on its own, resulting in pus discharge and significant relief from the pressure, but I knew that something was still wrong.

After that, I came to Dr. Eleri’s Piles & Fistula Clinic for a proper evaluation. During the examination, Dr. Mallikarjun Eleri suspected a fistula and advised an MRI scan. The MRI helped identify the fistulous tract and confirmed that I had a complex posterior transperineal fistula.

I’m a software professional, and I recently developed a very large and extremely painful swelling in the anal area after a period of travel, changes in food and routine, and hard bowel movements with straining.
