Most of the adolescents shows less interest to eat green vegs or leafy vegs,milk or milk products,soybeans ,fruits etc rather they like to eat more of foods like pizza,burgers,chips,fruit juices etc which is less nutrient
dense.
Causative factors for not gaining weight:- 1) Intestinal worm infection.
2) Anorexia nervosa.
3) Thyroid issues-hyperthyroidism.
4) Liver issues.
5) Genetic.
6) Iron deficiency
and last but not the least 7) Kidney issues.
Healthy ways to gain weight are as follow : - 1) yoga for 20-30mins early morning will help
in accelerating disturbed body metabolism n
helps in increasing appetite gradually.
2) serve foods by changing its texture and color in
a more appetizing way to show interest towards
the food to eat rather than eating forcibly.
3) Avoid junk foods or fast foods eating very
frequently.
4) Mindfull eating is more important rather
than eating foods without chewing properly
while eating.
5) Add on dry fruits like dates,almonds,walnuts,
raisins etc into her diet.
6) If eating non-veg then add on eggs,chicken,
fish,prawns etc into her diet.
7) Add on healthy drinks like fresh lemon
water, tender coconut water,fresh home
made lassi etc into her diet.
and last but not the least 8 ) adequate water
intake is also much more important for
better digestion of foods.

a healthy way during adolescent stage.
