Green teas not only soothe and rejuvenate but work as a lovely preventive against flus and allergies in the beginning of winters! There is that nip in the air and one needs warmth all around ! 

Three recipes, easy to make and when taken in routine, work wonders on your immune system: 

1. For an early morning tea, boil 75 ml water and add 1/4 tsp of cinnamon, 2-3 crushed black peppercorns, 1-2 crushed elaichi. Strain and pour it into a mug, add half a teaspoon of honey and drink it to Kick start your morning with this detox and natural strengthener! 

2. Warm up 100 ml of water, add 10-12 leaves of mint and 1/2 tsp of grated ginger. Strain and add half a teaspoon of unprocessed and natural palm sugar. Drink this late afternoon before the temperature dips lower! 

3. At night, boil 1/2 tsp of saunf, 1/4 tsp of ajwain and 1/4 tsp of jeera  (these spices could be dry roasted and powdered and refrigerated for a month!) in 75 ml of water. Drink this either straining the seeds or unstrained if you add the powdered mix. A good digestive aid too when consumed last thing in the night!
