How to manage it??

  1. Talk to the dentist - Tell them what is it that scares you the most while visiting the dentist 
  2. Try breathing and relaxation techniques 
  3. Ask a family member/ friend to accompany you 
  4. Keep visits short- Pre inform the clinic/ dentist to keep short waiting times and split treatment into shorter visits 
  5. Try using listening to music 
  6. For severe cases, anti- anxiety medications can be considered 
  7. For extremely severe cases, help of a therapist would be advisable
