Diagnosis

  • Symptomatic Irreversible Pulpitis (SIP) with chronic apical periodontitis irt 46.

Treatment Plan

  • Planned for Root Canal Treatment (RCT) to relieve symptoms and save the tooth.

Treatment Procedure

  • Local anaesthesia administered.
  • Access cavity made through the crown.
  • All canals are located, cleaned, shaped, and irrigated thoroughly.
  • Canals are obturated using a suitable technique.
  • Tooth sealed and planned for final restoration if needed.

Outcome

  • Pain and swelling subsided post-treatment.
  • Tooth was retained successfully with proper endodontic care. 
  • Regular follow-up advised.

  • Even restored teeth can develop pulpitis if underlying caries or trauma exists.
