One might think moisturiser might be counterintuitive for management of acne.

But, it is very helpful for acne management due to these reasons :-

1) When the skin becomes dehydrated, your sebaceous glands receive a signal that the barrier is compromised. They overcompensate by producing more oil to lubricate the surface, this excess oil can lead to new clogged pores, creating a "rebound" effect where your skin is both flaky and greasy at the same time.

2)Moisturizers containing ceramides or niacinamide help repair this barrier, making the skin more resilient against external irritants and bacteria

3)Moisturizer acts as a buffer, reducing the side effects of medications and allowing you to remain consistent with your routine.

Just make sure the moisturiser is non comedogenic , oil free and you are ready to take over your acne.
