From my point of view, most important health indicator is BMI- Body Mass Index which is the value is derived from weight and height of an individual.

  • It is the amount of tissue mass (muscle fat and bone) which differentiates underweight, normal weight, overweight and obese individuals.
  • Normal BMI is between 18 to 24.

In many studies it is found that even it is normal in Asian and Indian people they have more fat mass than muscle mass, hence even sometimes our weight is normal there is a high risk of Type-2 DM, hypertension, and Cardiovascular and stroke and many types of Cancers.

Hence, it is important to keep weight under normal control limits at all stages of life. Regular exercising, meditation, Yoga, breathing methods and being happy can beat any disease in this world.
