• What are advantages of laparoscopy?Laparoscopic surgery causes minimal pain after surgery requiring very less pain killers. It also helps speedy recovery and hence length of stay is also less.

• Risks: There are a few side effects or risks of this method including fever, swelling and pain at incision sites. Major side effects include internal bleeding and injury to surrounding organs, but it is rare with expert and experienced surgeon.
