High blood sugar causes damage to blood vessels by narrowing and stiffening of the capillaries which can, in turn, reduce blood circulation to the eyes, fingers, toes, kidneys… even GUMS.

3) Patient should be on diet control for at least two weeks

4) Prior debridement of oral cavity (Oral prophylaxis)

5) Optimum sterilization to be followed in surgical area

6) Post-surgical follow-up

7) Periodic screening of surgical wound as well as prosthetics done on the implant
