‘I’m exhausted from trying to be stronger than I feel. '

Depression is more than just feeling sad. It's like being in a thick fog where even easy things are hard, and happiness feels far away. It's not just feeling blue; it's like a grey cloud covering everything in life. This is a story about a girl who struggled with depression silently.

She worked in a local cafe, always smiling and making others happy. Despite her cheerful exterior, she faced sleepless nights, constant tiredness, fatigue and was pulled away from friends. Even her love for painting seemed to vanish. Behind her smiles at the cafe, she felt extremely lonely and worthless. She used to cry herself to sleep, hid her true feelings as she was afraid of being judged by people. Her friends noticed changes but didn't fully understand what she was going through. One day, she finally opened up to a friend who had noticed her struggles. Together, they sought help, and slowly, with therapy and support, she began to feel better. Recovery wasn't easy for her, but sharing her feelings and getting help made a big difference. The community, once unaware, became a strong support system.

Her story teaches us that even in ordinary lives, people might be silently battling tough times. Being understanding and willing to listen can make a huge impact. In this case, compassion and community turned the girl’s quiet battle into a journey toward healing and rediscovery.

So, ALWAYS BE KIND TOWARDS PEOPLE, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT THEY’RE GOINGTHROUGH!!
