This procedure partial pulpotomy is done in young boy at his 12 years of age. Usually after  taking x rays and clinical examination most of dentist do root canal treatment. There is no wrong in doing so . But at our Centre at Baner Pune Dr Pandit think in favor of patient. Definitely all doctors works in favor of patients. what make a difference is ever one has different sets of skills. Dr pandit has good quality of skills in saving tooth in restorative phase instead of going for Root canal treatment. 

          Here he decided to do partial pulpotomy procedure where doctor dentist removes some part of pulp tissue from pulp chamber which contains blood vessels and nerves. as patient was young , the have good regenerative capacity. Doctor pandit does vital pulp therapies most commonly instead of standard root canal procedures. the decision to do vital pulp therapies or root canal treatment is decided by Dr Pandit after thorough check up. Because its not possible to save tooth every time without root canal treatment. there is always a science behind treatment. Some time patients demands doctor to avoid root canal treatment which is not always possible to treat patients according to their demands.

this is 6 years follow with photos and x rays showing that its possible to save such teeth without root canal treatment.

This way its not only cost effective to patient  but its good treatment in long run. 


After 1 year restoration came out . X ray taken after one year shows healing inside tooth by formation of  new layer we call it as dentinal bridge which acts as a barrier between root canal tissue and restoration. This layer was  formed because of regenerative capacity of BIODENTINE , a regenerative material.
