Carboxytherapy is the injectional application of medical grade carbon dioxide (CO2) gas into the tissue for therapeutic purposes. It is similar to mesotherapy and the gas is injected with the help of a 30G needle.

Procedure

The patient can have various feelings and sensations in the application site –warmness, tingling, burning, as a result of effect of CO2 (depolarization neurons membranes). These sensation usually tend to fade soon(within few hours).
