What is Vitamin D? 

Vitamin D is a Power stuff. The body produces its own Vitamin D spurred by sunlight.

Vitamin D initially thought to be responsible for bone and muscle strength, now found to be responsible for blood sugar and blood pressure maintenance, Cardiac Health, Sense of good feel, keeping the memory of person up and preventing heart disease, bowel disease...etc..    

When should you get exposed to Sunlight and how long?

  • You should get exposed to Sunlight from 11 AM - 1 PM (UV Beta rays) for 30 - 40 minutes without sunscreen.
  • Darker you are, you tend to have less absorption, so expose yourself for more time.

Other Sources of Vitamin D:

Vitamin D is rich in Fish, Cod liver oil, Tofu, Dairy Products, Fruits, Milk, Eggs and Mushroom.
