Abstract·       Introduction: Low-intensity extracorporeal shock wave therapy (Li-ESWT) has been proposed as an effective non-invasive treatment option for erectile dysfunction (ED). ED is a frustrating condition that we can see in our OPD; 

It affects more than 50% of cases between 30 to 80 years old.·      

 Officially called low-intensity extracorporeal shockwave therapy(Li-ESWT), the procedure is more commonly known as shock wave therapy which is misnomer with no electricals shocks but radial acoustic low-intensity sound wave.·      

Treatment consists of non-invasive, low-intensity sound waves that pass through erectile tissue, restoring natural erectile function by clearing plaque out of blood vessels and encouraging the growth of new blood vessels and the development of capillaries [angiogenesis],along with PRP & Sex Centre stimulation ·      

Methods-We selected 800 patients having ED, PE & Size, and a few cases of the curved penis that mainly caused un-consummation age group 30to 80 years. & we use the Indigenous Shockwave therapy unit from an engineering services point of view.·      

The shock way unit consists of Screen Display, Foot-switch, Pulse Energy Controller, Frequency Controller, Transmitter, Vent for colling, Applicators, etc. A systematic search was conducted, and Clinical randomized trials were conducted.

 Estimates were patient improvement &picture in self mobile pre & post therapy noted [ Self penis pic in both flaccid & Erection state] 

The Erection Hardness score is another tool to evaluate erectile function and firmness. 

It is scored as follows:·      

0-Penisdoes not enlarge·      

Score1]Penis is more significant but not hard·      

Score2]Penis is hard, but not hard enough for penetration·      

Score3]Penis is hard enough for penetration but not completely hard·      

Score4]Penis is tough and fully rigid·     

 A higher score indicates a higher degree of erectile rigidity. Main outcome measures: Change in Rigidity score after treatment with Li-ESWT in patients treated with active treatment vs. Oral phosphodiesterase. 

Results:  Data were extracted from seven trials involving 800 participants. The average age was 59 years, and the average follow-up was for one year. There was a statistically significant improvement in Erection & Size Curvature. 

Conclusion: Significant improving rigidity score between rigidity scores 2 & 4.
