DENTURE - A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissues.

There are different kinds of dentures available and there isn't a "one-size-fits-all." Every mouth is different, your dentist will recommend the one that is best for your mouth.

Needs to dentures:

Edentulous full mouth

1) Full mouth/partial missing teeth to be there.

2) Any periodontally weak teeth to be extracted priorly. 

3) Before going for dentures, gums and jaw bones need to heal completely. Gums and bone healing process takes around 3 months time.

After the 3 months    --After the complete healing process, the dentists will make impressions for the permanent dentures. 

Primary impressions

Once the dentures are ready and installed, the dentist will check the bite, appearance and orientation. 

When dentures are ready to use, dentist will tell you the maintenance of dentures.

When you are not using dentures, need to keep it in a bowl of water.

Dentists recommend a frequent checkup appointments, as in initial days of usage, dentures may develop sores in the mouth and changes in fitting of dentures may be seen.

Routine dental check ups for every six months are mandatory for denture wearers.
