Knee pain has became more prevalent irrespective to age. Some of the knee pain may get worse over a period of time with age. Exercises like leg extensions, gluts activation and abductors are best for knee pain. However, best exercise is squats, but some people may find it hard to do this. 

At our centre, we have developed our own protocol for knee rehab, have been treating patients with OA knee even for Grade 3, the outcome has been better with the treatment. Multidisciplinary approach is required to deal with knee pain, because its one of the major joint for weight bearing. Our program which contains exercises to reduce weight with diet plan (specialised for knee pain), pain relief modalities and strengthening program has given positive results with majority of patients.
