Group A- Only oral therapy Phosphodiesterase [only Tadalafil, Sildenafil]•
Group B – on LiSWT [commonly known as SWT] only.•
Group C – Above + Oral Tadalafil 2.5mg every third day]•
Group D – SWT with PRP commonly known P-Shots.•
Group E - SWT with Meridian Stimulation as per TCM.•
All the groups above include counseling, diet management & mandatory consent letter. •
We selected 800 patients having ED, PE & Size, and a few patients with a curved penis that cause un-consummation between the age group of 30 to70 years & we used an Indigenous Shockwave therapy unit for treatment purposes. •
These waves are used on Penile Shaft• All around shaft & Direction V shaped at Base.•
Once in week SWT: One-month duration.
2] Once in 15 days SWT: 4 sitting duration 2 months
3] Once in a month SWT: 4 sitting duration 4 months Total 6 months of therapy. One-year observation.•
Protocol of therapy may be varied in cases of Collagen deposits/Curved penis. In such cases, the therapy can be used daily/Alternate days for 20/40SWT.•
Every time 1000-1500 acoustic sound waves are used.•
The Erection Hardness score, a questionnaire by Juliette Parisot(2014), was used to evaluate erectile function and firmness. •
The score is indicated as follows:
Score 0-Penis does not enlarge.
Score1 -Penis is larger, but not hard Score.
2-Penis is hard, but not hard enough for penetration Score
3-Penis is hard enough for penetration, but not completely hard Score
\4-Penis is completely hard and fully rigid Score
5 -Normal•
A higher score indicates a higher degree of erectile rigidity.
Methods:•
Systematic research was conducted in the clinical trials. The results showed improvement in the penile rigidity of the patients and this was found by asking the patients to click images of their penile shaft on their phones pre and post-therapy. • The picture of the penis was taken in both a flaccid and erected state.
Results•
Significant improvement in rigidity score from Zero Rigidity to Score 4/5 Normal rigidity after combining LiSWT & PRP-shots as interventional sexual therapy.•
Second most important observation is that minimum of 4/5 sitting of LiSWT is needed for prolonged results.•
Shock wave therapy along with PRP- shots are the boon for erectile dysfunction.•
