Daily Cleaning

Remove and rinse dentures after meals to wash away food particles.

Brush gently with a soft denture brush (never use hard brushes or toothpaste – it can scratch).

Use mild soap or denture cleanser, not regular toothpaste.

Overnight Care

Soak dentures in water or denture solution overnight to keep them moist and prevent warping.

Never sleep with dentures in your mouth (unless advised by your dentist).

Handling with Care

Always handle dentures over a towel or water-filled sink to avoid breakage if dropped.

Oral Hygiene

Clean your gums, tongue, and any remaining natural teeth with a soft brush.

For RPD wearers, pay extra attention around clasps to prevent plaque buildup.

Regular Checkups

Visit your dentist regularly for adjustments and to check fit (ill-fitting dentures can cause sores).

Avoid--Hot water (may warp dentures).

Harsh cleaners, bleach, or abrasive toothpaste.

A clean denture = a confident smile + healthy mouth
