Most healthy adults can safely enjoy up to 400 mg of caffeine daily. That’s about 3 to 6 mg for every kilogram of body weight. That’s like having 3 to 6 mg of caffeine for every kilogram you weigh. To give you an idea, a 150 ml cup of Indian filter coffee has roughly 100 to 150 mg of caffeine. So, you can happily sip on 2 to 3 cups of coffee a day without worrying.

If you're pregnant, it's important to limit caffeine to around 200 mg per day, roughly 150-200 ml of Indian filter coffee. Too much caffeine can pose risks to both you and your baby, so it's best to stay mindful of your intake. 

And for teens, try to stick to 100 mg a day. 

Remember, too much caffeine can lead to side effects like anxiety, restlessness, and insomnia. So, keep an eye on your intake and adjust as needed for your health!
