Years of wear and tear can be hard on your feet. Overuse, shoes that dont fit properly and even genetics can lead to injuries and disorders of the foot that can greatly impact your mobility.

Both feet and face are important but mostly we are ignoring about foot condition or the foot wear. The feet are the lower most point of the human body or the basement. If the basement is not stable and correctly structured it will affect the whole body. Example , "The Leaning tower of Pisa ", the reason for leaning is because of its basement.

Likewise how much vital is our face for our personality that much importance should be given to our feet too. Foot abnormalities can be congenital or acquired and most oftenly it is neglected.

Types of Foot Deformities:

Equinus: Equinus is a deformity where the foot is fixed in plantar flexion.

Valgus : foot is everted and abducted at the mid tarsal joints so that the sole faces outwards.

Varus: foot is inverted and adducted at the midtarsal joints so that the sole faces inwards.

All these deformities could be very visible and most commonly it is treated with surgical corrections or by using orthotic braces. But the acquired foot conditions like flatfoot (pes planus) or pronated foot, and the (pes cavus) supinated foot are not taken into consideration .
