Cubital Tunnel Syndrome is acompression of the ulnar nerve at the inside aspect of the elbow. It is thesecond most common nerve compression in the upper extremity after Carpal tunnelsyndrome. or Ulnar Neuritis or Ulnar Nerve Compression

The ulnar nerve is the nerve thatruns right along the inside of your elbow and it supplies inside of yourforearm and palm side of fourth and fifth fingers.

Causes of Cubital tunnel syndrome areoveruse or overloading of the Triceps muscles, elbow or forearms, presence ofspur on the medial epicondyle in the elbow, or Cubital valgus, etc. this ismost commonly seen in a tennis player, those who do bench press, who sleep witharms above their head.

Common symptoms of Cubital TunnelSyndrome are numbness and tingling on the palm side of the fourth and fifthfinger, weakness in grip, forearm pain, or maybe loss of sensation, thesymptoms of Cubital tunnel syndrome are worsened by performing activities thatrequire bending of the elbow which stretches the ulnar nerve, and excessive useof cell phone.

More severe symptoms of Cubitaltunnel syndrome include: weakness or clumsy hand, muscle wasting, and claw handdeformity, etc.
