When treating a painful boil, it's important to avoid popping it, as this can spread the infection. Instead, you can apply a warm compress to the affected area for 10-15 minutes, 3-4 times a day or you can mix glycerin oil and magnesium sulphate sachet both together in 1:1 ratio. Then dip a gauze piece in that mixture, soak is fully and then keep it on the boil for 3-4 hours. Ensure you do hot fomentation over the affected area. The warmth helps to draw out the pus and reduce swelling. It's crucial to keep the area clean by gently washing it with mild soap and patting it dry.

For pain relief, take over-the-counter pain relievers such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen. These medications can help alleviate discomfort associated with the boil. In most cases, boils heal within a week. However, if the condition worsens or persists, it's important to seek medical attention.
