It’s more complex than it seems

Nutrition and taking a proper balanced diet is more complex than just thinking of calories in and calories out. Weight loss is 25% exercise and 75% diet. A person can regularly stick to his exercise schedule for an hour everyday but how to plan a healthy diet for next 23 hours becomes a big hassle. This where dieticians are required to plan a structured meal for you per your requirement and comfort. Some want a structured plan and some want a general plan to get to their goals.

Eating Nutritious food is not enough. The food you have consumed should be to absorbed by the body. Most of the people have bloating feeling and are  uncomfortable after ingesting which seems like a healthy food option.

Here are 10 common reasons you should consult with a dietitian nutritionist:

  1. You need to gain or lose weight. A dietitian nutritionist can suggest additional calorie sources for healthy weight gain or a restricted-calorie eating plan, plus regular physical activity for weight loss, while still eating all your favorite foods.
  2. You have diabetes, cardiovascular problems or high blood pressure. A dietitian will help you safely change your eating plan without compromising taste or nutrition.
  3. You are thinking of having or have had gastric bypass surgery. Since your stomach can only manage small servings, it's a challenge to get the right amount of nutrients in your body. A dietitian will work with you and your physician to develop an eating plan for your new needs.
  4. You have digestive problems. A dietitian nutritionist will work with your physician to help fine-tune your diet so you are not aggravating your condition with fried foods, too much caffeine or carbonation.
  5. You're pregnant or trying to get pregnant. A dietitian nutritionist can help make sure you get nutrients such as folate, especially during the first three months of pregnancy, lowering your new-born’s risk for neural tube or spinal cord defects.
  6. You need guidance and confidence for breast-feeding your baby. A dietitian nutritionist can help make sure you're getting enough iron, vitamin D, fluoride and B vitamins for you and your little one.
  7. Your teenager has issues with food and eating healthfully. A dietitian nutritionist can assist with eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia and overweight issues.
  8. You need to gain or lose weight. A dietitian nutritionist can suggest additional calorie sources for healthy weight gain or a restricted-calorie eating plan, plus regular physical activity for weight loss, while still eating all your favorite foods.
  9. You're caring for an aging parent. A  dietitian nutritionist can help with food or drug interactions, proper hydration, special diets for hypertension and changing taste buds as you age.
  10. You want to eat smarter. A  dietitian nutritionist can help you sort through misinformation. Learn how to read labels at the supermarket, discover how healthy cooking is inexpensive, learn how to eat out without ruining your eating plan and how to resist workplace temptations.
  11. You want to improve your performance in sports. A dietitian nutritionist can help you set goals to achieve results — whether you're running a marathon, skiing or jogging with your dog.

So, look for a good qualified nutritionist and lead a healthy life with perfect Diet planning!!
