There are several ways to predict ovulation.

Basal body temperature (BBT) is a simple but efficient way of tracking ovulation.

It can be used for planning a pregnancy as well as planning contraception by natural methods.

The contraceptive efficiency of BBT is very low, like any other natural method. But for a lady with regular periods, BBT can be used to predict ovulation with reasonable efficacy.

What do you need to measure BBT?

1. A glass or accurate digital thermometer

2. Pen and paper to draw a graph/ These days there are several apps which will draw this for you

3. Lots of patience and positivity
