Fatty liver disease, or hepatic steatosis, is a condition characterised by the accumulation of fat in liver cells. There are two types of Fatty Liver Disease one is Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (AFLD) and the other one is Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD). NAFLD is not related to alcohol but it may be caused due to an unhealthy diet and lifestyle. Diseases such as obesity, diabetes, cholesterol or high blood pressure could be the reason.
