Summers are here and here are some important things you need to know:

1) Keep yourself hydrated. Drink plenty of water- 5-6 litres /day

2) Consume fruits with high water content, it makes you feel fresh. Fruits like grapes, watermelon

3) Avoid heavy meals

4) Do not have cold drinks or cold water immediately after coming from the sun. As it causes sudden temperature changes

5) After coming from the sun, do not cool yourself under a fan or in an air conditioner room as it causes sudden fall in body temperature and suppresses sweat

6) Protect your eyes from UV rays

7) Take electrolytes, it will help you rehydrate

8) Protect your skin from harmful rays of the sun by using suncream and bath twice a day.
