Contact lenses are prescribed by your doctor/ optometrist to correct the refractive errors of your eyes. It is also used for cosmetic purposes. But requires an utmost care to be taken.
- Following the schedule for contact lens wear as told by your doctor. Do not use for more hours than prescribed.
- Contacts lens should not be worn during sleep. It may damage the cornea by decreasing its oxygen supply.
- Take off your contact lenses before swimming, water activities or bath/ shower. It may contract infections.
- Clean your hands well before placing your lenses. Rinse it with contact lens solution before use.
- Place the contact lens in a clean container. Replace the box every 3 months or if it is damaged.
- Always disinfect your lens with the solution provided. Never use tap water/ homemade solution to clean the lens
- In case of any allergy or redness, stop contact lens wear and consult your doctor immediately.
