I am vegetarian and I think I am not getting adequate Zinc in my diet. Some of the symptoms that I have are frequent occurrence of acne on face, acne on back, thinning of hairs, decreased sense of smell etc.
Should I take zinc supplements? Could you pls recommend one as per 10-12 mg RDA?
I don't want to take something like Zincowit that has lots of other vitamins and minerals.

How do you know that you are not deficient in other Vitamins and Minerals which are found in Zincovit?
If you want to be so scientific then get your Iron, Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc, Potassium, Vit B 12, Vit D 3, Folic acid done. Then you can make your own formula depending on the level of deficiency of all these.
