Yellow spots could be due to external deposits, stains or due to decay, discoloration from within because of various reasons, It is not possible to tell what the yellow spots are without examining the teeth. Please visit a dentist to get it diagnosed correctly.

I recommend you to meet a dentist and get a clinical examination. The yellow spots could be start of dental cavity or could be discolouration due to Flurosis. Is your child on any vitamin or iron supplements ?
