There are basically two types of stains.
1. Extrinsic stain: is staining on the surface of the tooth, it occurs when stain particles such as food/ drinks cover the tooth surface
2 Intrinsic stain: is staining below the tooth surface
Next Steps
For extrinsic stains you can visit the nearby dentist for cleaning
For intrinsic stain there are many options depending on the case.
please visit your nearby dentist
yes.. you will need to get it treated either by scaling or bleaching depending on clinical examination of teeth. so please visit a nearby dentist to get it clinically examined.
If that line is above the tooth surface then it can be clened but if that line is intrinsic stain then it cant be vleaned but can be light by bleaching
one has to understand the type of yellow line.there r two types of stains, extrinsic n intrinsic, means outside n inside the tooth.
the stains which r outsude means extrinsic can b removed by a procedure called as scaling
if stains r internal, inside the tooth then they can not be removed.they can be either masked by laminates or lightened by bleaching
a clinical evaluation is a must to come to proper conclusion
