There is cavity in right lower wisdom tooth and adjacent molar. No pain only sensitivity and food lodgement. Doctor suggested extraction of lower wisdom tooth and RCT/Filling of adjacent molar. But along with that he told to get right upper wisdom tooth removed along as well as he said it might cause problem in future. Right now no problem. So upper should be removed along or not??

Hello u should get lower wisdom tooth removed as soon as possible because it is decaying adjacent tooth (second molar) keep oral hygiene good by night brushing and rinse with warm salt water so that food don’t get stucked. Upper wisdom tooth can be delayed but lower is ASAP
Greetings !
The treatment plan suggested by the consulting dentist is appropriate. However, it is not mandatory to get the upper wisdom tooth extracted along with the current treatment plan. You can wait for 3-6 months & get it done then. However, it is needed to be extracted in few months.
Hope you find this beneficial. Thanks ! Have a great day.
Hello sir,
The reason for removal of the wisdom teeth is to avoid the problem in future.
So, if it's symptomatic get the extraction done if not you can postpone the procedure for a while.
According to the x ray, you need to get your lower right wisdom tooth extracted as soon as possible because its impacted and is putting pressure on the adjacent tooth as well, hence it has already started damaging the adjacent tooth.
As for the upper wisdom tooth, it’s extraction is not immediately needed, you can get it extracted if it causes you any problem in future.
