Recently(15 days)ago got my 2 wisdom teeth extracted. My 1-2 teeth near wisdom tooth extracted area have become sensitive to sugar/sour food items. There is also some swelling left after surgery. How much time does it take to fully recover from sensitivity?? Any home remedies? Is any nerve causing the problem?

Hi post extraction sensitivity of adjacent teeth is very common as the gum will be cut open for removal or wisdom teeth ( that exposes inner portion of the tooth which is in front of the wisdom tooth )
Symptoms persist for a few weeks sometimes and gradually tapers down by itself .. usually we prescribe a densitising paste for 4 weeks and a painkiller for support during this time .. additionally gentle massage of the gums at home with oil can help heal the gums faster preventing these symptoms .
Keep the area clean
Sensitivity after wisdom tooth extraction is expected. It may resolve over a few months. However, if it persists out causing too much of a trouble plz visit your dentist for evaluation.
No home remedies for sensitivity.
