Lot.of pain in upper right jaw near molar Cannot open mouth. Cannot eat Swelling on right cheek. Is this problem related to wisdom teeth issue?

Happy New year. I think u are right. This might be a problem  arising from wisdom tooth which we call pericoronitis.
Next Steps
take rest. keep urself hydrated. Since swelling is present u require to start  a course  of antibiotics after consulting  ur dentist.

It most likely looks like its a case of swelling due to the wisdom tooth.But you need to get it checked from your dentist to know if the swelling is due to partially erupted wisdom tooth or due to a decayed wisdom tooth.
