Wisdom tooth extraction
Hi my wisdom tooth was troubling me ,so that I had extract the tooth doc had done coronectomy of tooth.....it's safe or not she told me that remaining root will marj into bone it's possible?? How much did take in recovery??

The remaining portion of tooth won't merge with bone. No one can predict that tooth piece is going creat problem or not.

just let heal that wound, wait and watch if pain occurs consult dental surgeon.

If there is small root piece left it will resorb on its own but if its a bigger piece then it has to be removed , it will be determined by taking a good radiograph and preferably consult an oral and maxillofacial surgeon for clinical and radio graphical examination and get the remaining part removed if indicated

Hi I think you should consult a good Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon. Get the remaining root removed after taking an OPG . If it was troubling you before that means there was some infection present so it's better to get the root extracted. As we say, go to the ROOT cause of the problem!

Sometimes the root bit if very small will resorb on its own But bigger roots need to be removed surgically for permanent relief.
