Hello
I would request you to upload some photograph or x-rays if they are present with you. Definitely the wisdom tooth is trouble causing and if you do not get it removed it can damage the adjacent tooth but whether it has already damaged it would be clear through the x-ray. So it would need a proper examination, a proper checkup followed by treatment planning.
Kindly visit an oral and maxillofacial surgeon for the same.

You can get in touch with me. I am an oral and maxillofacial surgeon practicing in New Delhi

Extraction of wisdom tooth will definitely solve your problem of food getting stuck and pain.To determine damage to adjacent tooth you will need to get xray done and get checkup done by dentist. Xray will also help determine position of wisdom tooth.More you wait for treatment more damage will b done to adjacent teeth.
Next Steps
Visit dentist for X-ray and check up as soon as possible.
Health Tips
Gargle forcefully with water after taking any food or beverage to keep that space clean till you get treatment done
In cases where the wisdom tooth is malaligned, extraction is the best option . A full mouth X-ray / OPG is recommended before proceeding with surgery . Evaluation of adjacent tooth can be done accordingly.
