Suicidal ideations have become very common among young adults these days but as a 30 year old if you are feeling this low this is a clear sign that you need urgent medical help. A Psychiatrist is a medical professional with a MBBS, MD Degree in Psychiatry from a Medical College. A Psychologist is a clinical/therapy professional with a M.A., MPhil, or PhD Degree from a University or Institute. A Psychiatrist primarily provides a medical diagnosis and medications. A Psychologist primarily provides Psychotherapy/ Counselling. Both the treatment complement each other. The primacy of treatment methodology depends upon the severity and root of the symptoms.
