White spot on tonsil is mainly slough, do warm saline rinses and let it heal. if it increases, or give discomfort while swallowing, you would need to get an examination done by the doctor.

this white spot is generally slough , probably there was some sore or tonsillitis, its healing now, do warm saline rinses and let it heal. if it increases, or give discomfort while swallowing like a pinching pain in the throat, you would need to get an examination done by the ENT.
Hi these white spots are nothing but tonsil stones.
Tonsils filter bacteria and viruses that enter our body through the oral cavity.
These stones are a sign of inflammation of the tonsils.
It causes a weird sensation like an obstruction in the throat hence the discomfort.
There is nothing to worry, vigorous gargling can dislodge the tonsil stone.
Coughing or even using a water pick will help.
So as suggested by the doctor rinse thrice daily with saltwater.
Maintenance of oral hygiene is important, brush twice daily and use a tongue clean to prevent further bacteria buildup and bad breath.
Next Steps
Be patient it takes time to go.
If it doesn't and if there's pain in your throat, difficulty swallowing etc visit the physician at the earliest.
