Hi Doc,
I have slip disc from 2 years now and not able to workout in gym, so I only do walk and some stretching exercises at home in order to reduce some weight.
Now my question is can I take Whey Isolate protein shake when I am only doing walk and stretching exercises.
Please suggest ...
Best regards

Hello,
Taking supplements is not advisable untill you are into vigorous activity or heavy weight lifting. Include foods that are rich in protein to meet your daily protein intake levels.
No need of supplement then... dietary protein will be sufficient in your case.
Continuous intake of isolate protein with no work put can increase uric acid in blood.
