Whey concentrate needs to be taken carefully. In the sense that they are just a concentrated food group of proteins. So you need to take a good amount of water with it. So if you are having half a scoop. You need to supplement that with at Least 500 ml of water as well. Whey doesn’t have side effects on its own. However if you don’t hydrate yourself enough, you will have problems of acidity. In very extremely cases where protein content is extremely high, kidney stones can also come but they are in very extreme cases of 4 to 5 scoops per day. You shouldn’t worry about it. Also make sure you are taking a good brand because many fake brands are also revolving in the market. It’s good that you are not allergic to milk products and all of us have a lesser tolerance to milk products and it keeps decreasing with time. Milk also has a high level of estrogen. I would suggest if you are looking to get aesthetics and cuts in your body, try and reduce your milk content and opt for almond milk or soy milk instead which doesn’t have any estrogen. PS Soy milk has phytoestrogen or plant estrogen. It doesn’t react in a human body. However ideally you should just take water with whey.
