Hello Triveni      A BP of 139/80 is not concerning. But if you feel you might be having an issue with your general blood pressure, it is advisable to get it checked out by a trained person. Your BP should be measured at least on 2 different occasions, at least one week apart.      If you feel going to hospitals or meeting doctors make you anxious, you could get it checked at a nearby pharmacy or even at home. Remember feeling anxious might increase your BP temporarily, which could be misleading. So check your BP under comfortable circumstances.

You should buy a BP machine and check your BP at home , definitely the first reading in the morning on getting up and twice thereafter. Then the Physician can decide whether you need treatment for Hypertension or not.
