It is quite hot in nature. We don't know your prakruti , but if it is pitta then it will harm you. Patients have more faith on neighbors than doctors. Do faith on neighbors but expert advice necessary

There us no medicine which will reduce your weight.weight can only reduced by yoga or workout. You are on thyroid medication so please tell us is your thyroid controls.
Second see vedio of ramdev do that yoga which he tell to thyroid patient.
:- drink leukiwarm water ( which helps to reduce weight.
:-Do skipping daily for 15 min empty stomach.
:- Do not eat zunk foods like puzza ,burger, or streat food .
Eat simple stay healthy.
