My mother has lost a lot of weight in a couple of months. Her diet is become poor. She's unable to eat and has become very skinny. Kindly help. She was very plumpy earlier. Her collar bones have started to be visible now. Please suggest.

Firstly as you stated that of late your mother has been losing a lot of weight...it is necessary to know the cause of sudden weight loss.Please take your mother to a physical and get certain tests done.Meanwhile you can introduce milk(milk shakes,milk with honey,milk with pureed dates),paneer,curd,egg,chicken,soy,nuts,dried fruits,ghee and home made butter.Make sure she eats small meals but nutritious ones :)
First find out the reason behind her sudden weight loss. You can increase her calorie intake by just adding a tea spoon of Ghee or butter into her rice and deal also try to give her more proteins in the form of eggs, fish, paneer or soy chunks. Take care.
