Hi, I'm 23 right now and 6'2, I'm having issues with weak thin bones since childhood which is really concerning as the risk of fractures is high. I've never stopped my milk consumption since childhood and everyday I have around 500ml cow milk, from last few months I switched to buffalo milk. Can you please suggest the DOs and DONTs to overcome this problem?

Hi..
I see that you are concerned that your bones are weak. I would suggest you to first get the actual diagnosis of your condition that leads your bones to become weak. The treatment and precautions varies depending on that. Do you have any family history which is relevant to what you are having? Have you been on any long term medications? Do you have bluish discolouration of the white portion of your eyes? Do you have flexible joints? Any history of renal disease?
Next Steps
You can get a DEXA scan for three regions:wrist, vertebra and hips. Basic blood tests like serum Calcium, Vit D3, RFT.
Health Tips
Get adequate sunlight exposure: Walk under sunlight everyday before or after your lunch.
Keep moving: Being active rather than sedentary keeps your bones strong.
Take necessary gears and precautions to prevent falls.
Get your Dexa scan , vitamin d3 reports and routine blood reports .
Your height seems more than average , if it’s regular in your family then ok , otherwise just visit physician or orthopedic doctor nearby once .
Get your bone density checked with DEXA scan and vit.D levels as well.
Once that is done plan to increase bone strength if required can be made.
Till then start weight training as it also increases bone strength.

With Proper exercise, your legs can be bulked.
DExA, vit D3 and Calcium do these blood test and meet an orthopaedic surgeon near you.
